Bali Digital Academy is an educational resource for programming and software development. When you browse modules, open a lesson page, or send us a question, a limited set of data is processed so the site works and so we can reply. This page explains what is collected, why, how long it stays, and which rights you can exercise.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will walk through it with you.
When you use the contact form or request guidance on a learning path, we receive the name you enter, your email address, an optional phone number, and the message itself. These fields exist only to identify you and answer your question. Messages are stored in our email inbox and in the form provider's dashboard, and are deleted once the conversation is closed and no follow-up is pending.
Our hosting provider records standard server information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you open on the site. We also use privacy-conscious analytics to see which modules are read most and where visitors leave. This data is aggregated and used to improve navigation and content order, not to identify individual readers.
The site sets a small number of functional cookies needed for page delivery and form security. Analytics cookies are optional and can be refused without losing access to any lesson or module. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; some layout preferences may reset as a result.
Processing rests on three grounds: delivering the pages you request, answering messages you send us, and understanding which educational material is useful so we can revise it. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing mail unless you explicitly ask to be contacted about new modules.
Data may pass through a small number of processors that keep the site running: the hosting provider, the email service that delivers form submissions, and the analytics tool described above. Each one is bound by a data processing agreement and may only act on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data to other third parties, and we do not disclose it for advertising purposes.
Contact messages are kept for as long as the exchange is active, then removed within a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are rotated regularly and analytics records are kept in aggregate form. If you ask us to delete a message thread earlier, we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
You can request access to the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, or ask for a portable copy of what you submitted. You can also withdraw consent for optional analytics at any time. Where the GDPR applies, these rights are granted directly; where it does not, we apply the same standard voluntarily. Requests are answered without charge.
This platform describes educational content only. Module descriptions state what a topic covers, not what a learner is guaranteed to achieve. If you spot a statement that reads as misleading, tell us and we will correct it.
